Free Vibration of Double Beam System Based on the Multibody System Transfer Matrix Method
摘要
Beam structures are widely acknowledged as fundamental components in mechanical, aerospace, and structural engineering domains. As technology continues to advance, the use of double-beam systems is becoming increasingly prevalent in various engineering applications. In this paper, a method is introduced to model and analysis of a double beam system utilizing the Multibody System Transfer Matrix Method (MSTMM). The modeling process involves the derivation of transfer matrices for the double-beam system, dummy body-spring-dummy body system, which are subsequently assembled in sequence based on the direction of transfer. The global dynamics equations and the system inertia matrix are obviated. The resulting model is simple yet efficient, and the presented results demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach for the structural analysis of double-beam systems. This study offers a new insight into the modelling and analysis of such systems and makes a worthwhile contribution to the field of engineering.
