Dynamic Response Analysis on Tensile Membrane Structure According to the Wind-Rain Interaction Model

摘要

In view of the damage on some tensile membrane structures caused by wind and rain interaction, a study on the dynamic response of tensile membrane structures was analyzed based on the wind-rain interaction model in this paper. Firstly, considering the wind load and the joint impact of raindrops per unit volume on the membrane surface, a wind-rain interaction model was established. Then based on the ALE coordinates, the datum transfer on the fluid–structure coupling interface were realized, and the partitioned weak coupling algorithm was used to solve the fluid–structure coupling. Finally, the dynamic responses of the structure under different wind speeds and rain intensities were analyzed on the umbrella-shaped membrane structure. The results show that the interaction of wind and rain in the design of tensioned membrane structures cannot be ignored.
