Collision Dynamics Analysis and Optimization of Rolling Cantilever Sliding Mechanism

Aiming at the problem of the collision between the roller and the guide rail when the rolling cantilever mechanism is sliding with power assist, the collision model of the roller and the guide rail is established using the Hertz collision theory, the force analysis of the sliding process is carried out, the mathematical model of the sliding process is given, the multidisciplinary simulation model of the cantilever sliding mechanism is established and the multi-mechanical simulation is carried out. The simulation results show that, the collision was caused by the roller changing sides on the guide rail, and the subsequent multiple collisions occurred due to the delayed absorption of collision energy. Based on the simulation results, an improved anti-collision mechanism scheme is proposed, and the simulation results of the new mechanism scheme prove the effectiveness of the improved mechanism.
