摘要

This paper proposes the Abduction, Abstract Degree and Urgency Matrix (ABDU-M), designed to aid in flexible and agile higher education reform based on eduinformatics. University reform is data-driven research, and it is crucial to use replicability analysis rather than ad hoc analysis in institutional research. However, abduction testing a hypothesis is challenging, making replicability difficult. To address this issue, we developed the ABDU-M to help with abduction and hypothesis generation. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive explanation of the matrix and its components, along with examples of its application in higher education reform. The conclusion is that abstracts are essential in promoting replicability through hypothesis generation. Overall, we provide a valuable tool for those involved in higher education reform looking for ways to incorporate Eduinformatics.
