The Solutions to Enhance the Demand for Using Sustainable Materials in Interior Design in Ho Chi Minh City

This paper aims to find out why sustainable materials have not been widely used in the furniture sector in Vietnam through three main research methods: Desk study of materials literature existing sustainability in HCMC; Survey of the awareness and application of sustainable materials in the interior with two groups of subjects: designers and people with interior design needs; Semi-structural interviews with interior designers in HCMC. From there, find new directions with specific solutions to increase the demand for sustainable materials in interior design.
