Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Medicine

Artificial Intelligence or AI as it is commonly known is a branch of computer science that deals with enabling machines to behave like humans and have the most important function of humans, that is ‘intelligence.’ Intelligence refers to the ability to think and that is what machines are made capable of doing. AI offers a variety of advantages in various industries, healthcare and medicine being the most significant ones. AI offers a great deal of advantages to the medical professionals as well as the patients in mostly two ways: the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases like cancer, hepatitis, COVID-19, etc., and the management of healthcare administration. It provides the medical staff, management, and professional experts with the ease to speed up the entire process to analyze, diagnose, and treat a patient. It also helps the patients with the ease and comfort of easily getting their treatment done, with utmost accuracy. There are also certain challenges that are faced while using AI based systems in healthcare and medicine. These challenges are discussed in this paper and also being solved in the best way possible.
