3D Design of a Dental Crown with Artificial Intelligence Based in Cloud Space
摘要
Industry 5.0 brings the human factor into direct collaboration with artificial intelligence. This synergistic relationship also has a strong presence in dental health, in the restoration of decayed teeth. Related to dentistry, the importance of the CAD systems and 3D printers also has greatly improved the production process in the dental laboratory. Intra-oral scanning—obtaining an imprint of the prosthetic field, enhanced the comfort of the patient during manipulations in the dental office. It also resulted in increased accuracy in data transmission of the prosthetic field by eliminating analogue silicone imprints. The implementation of new technologies in dentistry helps to manage the time of those involved in the treatment. The speed of making a dental crown, which will seal the damaged structure, also affects the successful completion of treatment of a damaged tooth. The digital design process includes operator actions that can be optimised, the use of artificial intelligence that identifies the contours of the crown, the border between the tooth and the gum on the digital imprint, the position of the teeth, as well as the distance from the antagonists. This report attempts to bring all these aspects together, providing real examples from the field and drawing important conclusions.
