The research method was based on a previous study of a large-scale agile framework itself and a case study of agile development applied to a large-scale project for mission-critical business systems without framework, and then a qualitative survey of cases in which new products and services were developed using the framework. Then it analyzed the characteristics and differences of the approaches using the grounded theory approach (GTA) based on the qualitative survey data. The results confirmed that new products and services are created when companies change their approaches to development projects, such as organizational structure and investment decisions, as a part of their management strategy.
