Peel Region is one of the fastest-growing regions in Canada, with a population of 1.45 million. The South Asian community is one of many racialized communities in Canada that has a history of being marginalized by dominant social constructs embedded within our society. The South Asian community is noticeably overrepresented in the positive COVID-19 cases documented within this region. This study identified and reflected key issues concerning the health of the South Asian senior population in Peel Region. It is recognized that the quality of life (QOL) of the South Asian demographic is reduced by 6% due to COVID-19. It is found that seniors can maintain their independence when tangible resources are delivered to them with care and patience. Seniors’ health requires PIP (Proactive, Inclusive, and People-Centered) service delivery and tangible resources as interventions.
