Applications IV: The More Distant Future

The articles in Chaps. 4 , 5 , and 6 cover the most widely discussed applications of 2D MHPs as solar cells, optical detectors, LEDs, and spin-selective devices. This chapter highlights the more unconventional, more distant-future intriguing applications of 2D MHPs, namely as radiation detectors, terahertz (THz) modulators, graphene heterostucture transistors, and polaritonic devices.
