Applications III: Spintronics
摘要
Metal halide perovskites exhibit large spin-related effects which enable spintronic applications. These include optical selection rules which connect circularly polarized photons to spin-dependent transitions, a large Rashba splitting, and the transfer of chirality from chiral organic molecules to the inorganic lattice. This chapter presents the latest results in understanding and using those effects to enable applications such as spin filters, spin LEDs, and photodetectors for circularly polarized light.
