Worldwide Statistics of Slips and Falls

Fall-related accidents due to slips have been documented all over the world by various government and private safety organizations. This chapter attempts to put together all the documented fall-related accidents caused by slips over time. The economic burden of different industries due to giving compensation to workers suffering from fall-related injuries has also been stated in this chapter. The contribution of slips-related falls in workplace-related accidents over the decades has also been highlighted in this chapter.
