Analyzing and Predicting Temperature Trends in a Metropolitan Area Using Time Series Analysis and Machine Learning Techniques

This chapter examines the temperature trend and its correlation to numerous elements such as seasonality, climate change, and human activities. To estimate future temperature patterns, the study used historical temperature data and time series analytic methodologies. The findings demonstrated a considerable increase in temperature, particularly during the weekdays, indicating the necessity for comprehensive environmental measures. The research also investigates the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on temperature patterns, revealing a temporary drop in temperatures. Overall, the study emphasizes the importance of putting in place sustainable practices and regulations to prevent the negative effects of climate change.
