摘要

Climate change has become a pressing global challenge, necessitating immediate action and cross-national cooperation. However, the rise of populism presents a significant barrier to efforts to mitigate climate change, as populist movements frequently prioritize short-term popular demands over long-term sustainability. This abstract investigates the significance of bridging the divide between populism and environmentalism to foster collaborative solutions. By understanding the drivers of populism, identifying shared values, and effectively communicating the urgency of climate action, it becomes possible to develop environmental policies that resonate with populist constituencies while making substantial progress in the fight against climate change. This document emphasizes the need to balance popular demands and sustainable ecological procedures to ensure a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
