Populism in its various forms has surfaced as a significant ideology in the twenty-first century. Environment populism, a new unconventional strain in this ideology, argues for the protection of the environment by combining core populist attributes like people-centrism and antielitism. This entry attempts to comprehend the phenomenon of elite art vandalism from an environmental populist perspective.
