摘要

Increasingly, the issues of global logistics (e.g., securing free and undisrupted flows of goods and materials from one production site and specific market segment to other distribution locations for global market segments) are not merely about business interests but addressing the domestic political reality of nations. The underlying power drivers also reflect strong currents of the populist appeal that thrives in the protection of national interests and strategically aligned customer demands from bloc market regions. This study discussed the interfaces of populism demand and the role of global logistics in a new realignment and growing rivalry in Indo-Pacific regions. International relations, global logistics, and populism are explained in the context of the growing nationalism movement. A research framework is presented.
