  • Paul Hong,
  • Joseph L. Wert

摘要

This entry discusses the processes of how populism influences public opinion which in turn sway democratically elected political leaders to end the “unpopular” military polices. Lessons of three wars (e.g., Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan) are summarized. Their implications on the Ukraine and Russia war are discussed.
