New Populism and Corporate Social Responsibility

This entry examines the brief history of corporate social responsibility movement which also interacts with the specific populist movements. New populism movements since 1960s (e.g., feminist movement, civil rights movements, green movements, climate control, me to movement, occupy wall street movement, …) are discussed and the CSR practices of firms in both advanced and emerging economies. Lessons7 and implications are discussed.
