Social Entrepreneurship
摘要
Social entrepreneurship is a private activity in the social economy whose main objective is to have a social impact rather than make a profit for their owners or shareholders. This is important in a world with social problems, where populist movements have the ability to distill complex social problems into easily understood and communicable stories. The simple narratives gain the upper hand. Narrativity is not the solution, it is the problem. What populist movements have in common are three things: they build immigration and diversity and their consequences in particular as a fundamental problem of society; they are broadly exclusionary and focus on national, religious, or ethnic differences; and they reduce complex social problems to easily understandable and communicable terms. But it’s not that simple in a complex world. Social entrepreneurship works against these simplifications and unfair attributions of responsibility in many places.
