Work Stress and Organizational Commitment: A Case Study of Al Wisam International School in the Kingdom of Bahrain

This study examines the relationship between work stress and organizational commitment among staff members at Al Wisam International School in Bahrain. With a sample of 106 participants, data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS and SPSS software. The findings reveal a positive association between work stress and organizational commitment, highlighting the significant influence of work pressures on employees’ commitment to the organization. The study suggests several recommendations to enhance organizational commitment, including the implementation of training workshops, human relations programs, stress reduction measures, and investment in qualified human capital. This research contributes to the existing literature by providing valuable insights into the impact of work stress on organizational commitment. The theoretical and practical implications derived from this study can benefit principals at Al Wisam International School in Bahrain, as well as readers and researchers interested in the topic of work stress and its effects on organizational commitment.
