Quantifying the Impact and Growth of Smart Innovation, Systems and Technology: A Bibliometric Approach Mapping the Research Landscape Over 12 Years

摘要

The book series entitled “Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies (SIST)” pertains to expertise, intellect, creativity, and long-term viability. This article conducts a bibliometric evaluation of the Scopus repository to assess studies on “Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies (SIST).” A dataset from Scopus of 13,035 papers from 2010 to 2022 is used, employing various bibliometric indicators and methodologies. The results indicate a solid scientific output with a growing number of publications each year. SIST articles are referenced by reputable publications, with Università degli Studi di Reggio Calabria having the most citations. The majority of authors are affiliated with institutions in India and China, with Chinese authors showing high productivity. The article emphasizes the contributions of SIST to the field, particularly in deep learning and machine learning, the current key topics of interest in Computer Science and Decision Science. It provides insights into significant research and their implications for future studies in the respective disciplines.
