The Impact of Voice Control Function on the Elder Customers’ Smart Home Continuous Adoption
摘要
Innovative home technology has the potential to enhance the quality of life of the elderly by enhancing their independence and lowering the need for professional caregiving; nevertheless, its adoption among the elderly is currently relatively low. This research seeks to discover the voice control function aspects that influence the continued adoption of smart home technologies by the elderly. A partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method was utilized to evaluate data from a sample of 514 Vietnamese seniors. The findings indicated that perceived utility, usability, and trust favorably affected the Elder’s continued acceptance of smart home technology. This research gives vital insights into the variables that impact the adoption of smart home technology among the elderly and have consequences for developing and deploying smart home technology.
