摘要

This paper explores the significance of microinteractions in human–computer interaction and their impact on usability and user experience. Microinteractions refer to the subtle and often overlooked design elements that enable users to accomplish specific tasks and interact with digital systems in meaningful ways. Drawing from engineering, design, psychology, and sociology, this research highlights the intricate components and design principles underlying microinteractions. This paper showcases how microinteractions can enhance user experience and create captivating digital interfaces by infusing them with personality, responsiveness, and delight. Our paper addresses design strategies and practical applications of microinteractions, emphasizing attention to detail and seamless integration within broader user interfaces. We explore the complementary nature of microinteractions and macrointeractions, underscoring their synergy in shaping overall user experiences. This research contributes to SDG 9 as it recognizes human–computer interaction and user interface design as pivotal factors in promoting innovation and building resilient digital infrastructure. The emphasis on usability and accessibility aligns with SDG 10 as it strives to make technology more inclusive and accessible to a broad range of users. This paper provides valuable information and guidelines for designers, developers, and researchers seeking to create more engaging and user-friendly digital experiences by emphasizing the significance of microinteractions and exploring their practical applications.
