Regional development is a significant socio-economic issue in the contemporary world. After the end of World War II, most countries and regions experienced significant socio-economic development. The spatial structure of socio-economic activities has evolved from one-dimensional to three-dimensional, and it is influenced by three factors: economic, social, and environmental.
