Load Frequency Control Using PID and Particle Swarm Optimization-ITAE

摘要

The primary goal of this paper is to examine the dynamic responses of power system load frequency management issues. Employing MATLAB software and Simulink, a thorough analysis of the uncontrolled power system and response improvement through the use of several controllers will be conducted. For any variations in power demand and other system disruptions, the load frequency control is to keep the frequency constant. Any frequency variations and unforeseen demand requirements are often regulated by LFC. LFC's goal is to maintain frequency matching within nominal bounds. Any change in load demand directly influences the frequency variation. The goal of this paper's study is to develop a model combining PID controllers and particle swarm optimization by using MATLAB Simulink to control frequency deviation. The results of dynamic performance are studied under various load-changing scenarios. As a consequence, adjusting error (ITAE) to optimize the gain values of the controller yields the steady-state optimization outcomes.
