Model “Unimat” Awajun Spanish Dictionary: Mobile Application Based on Artificial Intelligence to Improve Access to Information for Originating Peoples

Rapid technological progress has generated development opportunities in various sectors of society. However, there has been a growing increase in the technological gap that affects native peoples. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to propose the mobile application (app) model called “Unimat”, based on artificial intelligence, to translate information from Awajún to the Spanish language. The term “Unimat” means “learn” in Awajún, and its purpose is to bring technology closer to the native communities of the Peruvian Amazon, thus contributing to promoting inclusive and equitable development. In conclusion, it is considered that the app model proposal “Unimat” is adequate and pertinent; for its implementation, aspects such as accessibility, ergonomics, storage, and connectivity must be taken into account, in order to facilitate communication and the exchange of knowledge between native peoples.
