Efficacious Utilization of Groundnut and Soya-Bean Waste Shells as Fuel by Using Briquette Plant and Juxtaposing It with Other Fossil Fuels
摘要
Agriculture in India is the most common occupation in the past to now. India is where all sorts of crops can be produced due to its high-quality soil and resources. In the meantime, large amounts of agricultural waste are being generated here. Not only India but most developing countries are facing this issue. These wastes should be eliminated or reused in an ecologically friendly way. Groundnut shells and soya-bean shells are the best examples of Argo-based wastes. These wastes can be used as compost and buried in the soil. Still, for effective utilization, these groundnut and soya-bean shells can be converted into small briquettes with the help of a piston press, screw press, or hydraulic press briquette equipment, which can be used as fuel for various purposes. This work deals with the methodology involved in the process of briquette preparation and its properties. The various unit operations involved in the process are being discussed, along with the applications of the produced briquette.
