The Utilization of Electronic Waste to Produce Recycled E-Waste Aggregate Concrete

E-waste refers to discarded electrical or electronic devices, and its improper processing methods in developing countries can have adverse environmental impacts. When electronic products reach the end of their useful life, they contribute to electronic waste. This study aims to determine the compressive strength of M20 grade concrete by incorporating E-waste as both fine and coarse aggregates, ranging from 0 to 10%. The concrete's compressive strength, malleable strength, and flexural strength were assessed with and without E-waste aggregates, illustrating positive quality characteristics. This chapter presents the achievability of utilizing prepared E-waste as a fractional substitution for fine aggregate. The optimal mixture consisting of 10% E-waste and cement yielded stability and impressive compressive strength.
