Pharmaceutical Waste to Wealth

A very high amount of waste is generated during pharmaceutical manufacturing. A lot of it ends up in the rapidly filling landfills or the oceans worldwide. This puts a huge burden on the environment as well as the pocket (cost of making product). This is a significant challenge for humanity. Every effort shall be made to reduce the waste produced in the first place. Ultimately all the waste shall be segregated into high calorific value waste and low calorific value waste. The high calorific value waste shall be incinerated to produce energy (waste-to-energy incineration). All of this helps reduce costs as well as save our planet.
