Application and Analysis of Medical Image Processing Based on Improved CLAHE

Medical image processing is an important branch of medical imaging, which can provide doctors with clearer and more accurate image information for diagnosis and treatment decisions. CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) is a commonly used image enhancement algorithm, but it has some defects in processing medical images, such as excessive enhancement and noise enhancement. This paper aims to improve CLAHE algorithm, improve its applicability in medical image processing, and prove its effectiveness through experiments. The results show that the improved CLAHE algorithm proposed in this paper is effective in processing medical images, can extract image details well, and can maintain the overall brightness balance and color fidelity of the image, and has high practical value.
