Competition, Cooperation and Development in International Economic Relations
摘要
International economic law, as we define it, is a general term for the legal norms that regulate international economic relations. In the previous chapters, we analyzed the content of international economic relations as expressed through international economic activities, but we did not analyze what characteristics international economic relations have. Though it is also widely recognized that international law is a norm regulating international relations, international relations are rarely described or analyzed in international law textbooks. On the one hand, this shows a lack of understanding of the object of regulation of international law and international economic law, and on the other hand, it also creates disagreement as to whether public international law regulates international economic relations and thus is included in the “ideal object” of international economic law. In China’s legal education, except for some optional case study courses, almost all of them are purely teaching legal theories and norms; the same is true for international law as one of the courses. It seems that law students have less knowledge of international relations.
