Sasanian Cultural Relics Unearthed in China in Recent Years
摘要
The people of China and Iran have had friendly exchanges for a long time. During the Sassanid Empire, there were not a few Sassanian cultural relics that were directly or indirectly imported into China through the Silk Road and Sassanian. This paper comprehensively introduces the cultural relics of Sassanian Dynasty unearthed in China after the founding of People’s Republic of China (PRC) in 1949, including Sasanian silver coins, gold and silver wares, brocade, inscriptions with Pahlavi script, etc., reflecting the developed economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries at that time.
