Persian Sasanian Silver Coins in the Casket of Stupa Base in Ding County, Hebei Province
摘要
In 1964, a large number of Persian Sasanian silver coins were found in the casket of stupa base in Ding County, Hebei Province. This paper provides a detailed introduction and discussion of the age, size, weight, inscriptions and styles of these silver coins, emphatically pointing out that one of the Persian silver coins stamped with Hephthalite is the first physical historical evidence related to Hephthalite in China.
