Many operation management techniques have been implemented in the healthcare sector to improve the utilization of resources and the performance of systems. Theory of constraints was extensively implemented and resulted in positive outcomes in the healthcare sector in the literature. Identification of constraints is very crucial for system improvements and a dice game was introduced and also witnessed a number of applications in different environments. But for the healthcare industry, it is still novel. In this paper, we tried to identify the constraints in the complex and uncertain environment of the healthcare sector. Hence, this paper will guide working academicians and professionals to understand the concept of the dice game for better improvement of healthcare units.
