Survey of Vibrational Characteristics of Bridge Span by Viscoelastic Material Model
摘要
From the perspective that a structure is weakened by a change in the characteristics of its constituent matter, viscoelasticity is considered when investigating structural vibration to establish a more suitable material model. From a mechanical point of view, material properties are represented by two parameters including Young's modulus and viscosity coefficient. Therefore, this study extracts parameters from vibration measurement signals to identify vibration parameter changes and their relationship with mechanical parameters. The addition of mechanical and vibration parameters for the system identification brings a lot of efficiencies. The results are derived from an experimental survey conducted on a bridge in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and will serve as a foundation for predicting the condition of the structure.
