摘要

Tien Giang (TG) province is a typical province of the Mekong Delta with both interlaced rivers and a long coastline. According to the climate change scenario, from 2021, the situation of landslides on the main canals and in the field will be highly complicated throughout most of TG province, especially in rural areas. In that context, the houses in the countryside suffered the most damage. In this study, the current state of rural housing architecture in TG province is evaluated systematically. The survey results show that there are currently 6 typical types of rural houses, including street houses, pure-agricultural houses, garden villas, bird nest combined houses, raft houses, and stilt houses. Then, the impacts of climate change on each type of type of housing are identified. Finally, a system of adaptation solutions to climate change is oriented for TG rural houses.
