Mechanism of Hygrothermal Aging of Sealing Materials for Electric Power Equipment
摘要
Aiming at the problem of hygrothermal aging of sealing materials used for power equipment, fluororubber and Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) were subjected to hygrothermal aging at 90%RH and 85 ℃. The aging mechanism and performance changes of the two sealing materials were compared. The chemical components and molecular structure of fluororubber are stable in the process of hygrothermal aging, and the resistance to hygrothermal aging is strong, but it is easy to be affected by external stress and defects. EPDM has good resistance to hygrothermal aging and stable physical and chemical properties, but the phenomenon of internal stearic acid precipitation occurs in the process of hygrothermal aging.
