Experimental Analysis of Corona Discharge Characteristics and Acoustic Characteristics of Negative Needle-Plate with Different Pressures
摘要
The generation of corona discharge and audible noise during the operation of UHV transmission lines is a crucial aspect that should be taken into account when selecting and erecting these lines. In order to study the corona discharge characteristics and audible noise (AN) characteristics in complex environments, especially under different pressures, a climate tank test platform with artificially adjustable air pressure was built in this paper, and the corona discharge characteristics of negative DC needle-plate and its audible noise were measured in an anechoic shielding room. The corona current pulse and AN data in the pressure range of 101.3–78.9 kPa were obtained, and the variation law and correlation between them were analyzed. The findings presented in this paper can offer significant experimental data support to the investigation of corona discharge and audible noise characteristics in complicated environments.
