Study of Bidirectional Current Flow Controller for Multi-terminal DC Grid
摘要
This paper studies the need for DC current flow controllers (DCCFCs) in multi-terminal DC power grids. The DCCFC can regulate power flow and prevent overloading of DC lines, promoting the utilization of renewable and regenerative energies. The proposed DCCFC topology is presented with independent ability. It can achieve bidirectional power flow regulation. The operation principles and control strategy of the DCCFC are analyzed. Computer simulated results of steady-state and dynamic-response are provided to validate the entire study. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the demands for DCCFCs in multi-terminal DC grids which can regulate power flow efficiently and effectively, with the results retrieved from simulation demonstrating the operation and performance of the proposed DCCFC.
