Bioeconomy

The understanding that “business as usual” will exacerbate climate change is now widely acknowledged. One of the prospective opportunities is that of the field of Bioeconomy. The theoretical framework of a circular bioeconomy encompasses the use of renewable natural resources in a manner that is both efficient and sustainable, hence facilitating transformative changes in various areas including land use, food production, health, and industry. The primary goal is to achieve long-term economic well-being while simultaneously fostering a mutually beneficial coexistence with the natural environment.
