摘要

Peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality is not only an environmental issue, but also a development issue. Achieving the goals is an important opportunity for China to transform to a green and sustainable development model. The annual CO2 emissions from the global transportation sector have exceeded 7.2 billion tons, accounting for 23% of the total emissions, and its reduction is of great significance to achieve carbon neutrality. For a long time, fossil energy will remain an important part of transportation energy supply, and promoting the use of advanced bio-liquid fuels with excellent emission reduction properties can effectively reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector. In the future, advanced bio-liquid fuels will keep pace with the changes in the transportation sector by expanding into hydrogen energy and other fields. This paper examines the demand for advanced bio-liquid fuels in the transportation sector, focusing on the market situation, technology status and emission reduction potential of three representative products: ethanol, biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuels. As an important means to achieve carbon neutrality in the transportation sector, this paper looks into the future of advanced bio-liquid fuels in China.
