摘要

Agroforestry helps sustain soil nutrients and recycles waste material in a variety of ways to promote the plant growth. The soil nutrients are highly dynamic in nature and can change into several forms that impact the availability to the plants. By controlling recycling and absorption, agroforestry encourages more efficient nutrient cycling than any other system. Agroforestry is more capable of taking up the water from the deep layers and nutrient pumping than any other crops. In any agroforestry systems, litter accumulation and their decomposition processes play a major role for soil fertility improvement. Numerous variables, including land use pattern, soil microbial population, climate, species character, management-related activities, etc., affect the decomposition rate of litter and the rate of nutrient release into the soil. In agroforestry, soil nutrient dynamics influence biomass output, soil nutrient availability, and total nutrient cycling control.
