Abueva, José V[eloso] (1928–2021)

José V[eloso] Abueva is a Filipino political scientist, specialist in public administration and governance, constitutional reform, an educationist, reformer, and educational administrator. His areas of expertise ranged from democracy and governance, political science to politics and administration, and decentralization and federalism. A champion and activist of democracy and in pursuit of a Federal Republic of the Philippines with a parliamentary government, he also played a pivotal role in the reform of public education in the Philippines.
