PASUK Phongpaichit

Pasuk Phongpaichit is one of Thailand’s prominent economists with expertise on social and economic changes in the country during the last quarter of the twentieth century. Her field of specialization includes economics and politics, corruption and democracy, and females in the work force. Besides scholarly pursuits, she is an activist in addressing the myriad social, economic, and political issues confronting her homeland, and by extension, other developing nation-states facing similar challenges.
