The ear malformation can occur either alone or simultaneously with the maxillofacial region or other parts of the human body. The malformation of the external, middle, and inner ear can also occur alone or simultaneously. The diseases in this chapter are arranged according to the order of external auditory canal—middle ear—inner ear—petrous apex (including internal acoustic meatus).
