Comparison of Sectional Anatomy and CT of Temporal Bone

One of the difficulties in understanding the temporal bone CT image is the lack of temporal bone anatomy knowledge. Through the study of Ear Clinical Anatomy, we have understood the anatomy of temporal bone to some extent. In this chapter, the temporal bones were divided into several continuous parallel sectionals (axial, coronal, and sagittal), respectively, and compared with their own high-resolution CT images. The surgical landmarks in sectional samples and their corresponding CT images were marked in detail, their clinical significances were also illustrated in the meantime. This self-contrasting and mutually validating method will help beginners quickly grasp the relevant knowledge.
