Technologies Against Disinformation in Ibero-America: Systematic Review from the Regional to the Local Level

Disinformation is an ever-growing phenomenon that threatens such essential elements of our society as politics, economics, and public health. In this context, during the last few years, the development of techniques to deal with such disinformation has become more popular. In this study, a review of the works published in both Spanish and English on these concepts in Ibero-America is carried out. The data obtained come from a total of 166 documents published between 2012 and 2023 in scientific publications indexed in the Google Scholar database. The selection was carried out based on a criterion of total or partial appearance of keywords filtered by relevance and impact factors.
