Emerging Technological Ecosystem for Public Administration: Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining

There are many factors of technological innovation immersed in our social life. The expansion of internet services, the massification of mobile devices and the home office experience are just some aspects in the digital transformation of public administration. The use of emerging tools such as business intelligence, data exploitation and the use of artificial intelligence represent triggers for an e-government. This article aims to analyze the aspects in the use of emerging technologies and citizen perception in this regard. A quantitative instrument was applied using the internet to a population of 2,369. The results show that citizens demand greater use of technologies for the simplification of procedures and services, as well as the identification of the absence of related technological areas, manifesting an erroneous strategy by excluding modern technologies from the main services of the public administration of the state of Tabasco.
