Face Recognition and OTP Based Security Lock System

摘要

Identification of persons and maintenance of security are both essential to our day-to-day lives, particularly in restricted areas and residential safe lockers. A smart digital door lock system for the locker is a piece of hardware that employs digital information such as a user's data, voice detection, and face recognition as the method for authentication within the system. Other methods of authentication within the system include fingerprint scanning and handwriting analysis. In the past, a password-based locking mechanism was utilised for trendy electronic lock systems. In these kinds of systems, the password is used as the verification element. The next electronic lock system is one that utilises radio frequency identification (RFID), and the value of the RFID chip serves as the authentication element in this system. The employment of more modern technology is recommended in place of these security measures, which are more prone to security breaches. To address the pressing issues now facing the “security” industry and to improve upon the previously established criteria via the development of innovative technological solutions. In this paper, we have proposed OTP based verification when face is recognized using machine learning. The otp is sent through gsm module, and keypad to enter otp to switch on the relay.
