A Sparse Code Multiple Access for 5G Radiotransmission

Sparse code multiple access is a promising non-orthogonal multiple access scheme that was developed to meet the demanding needs of 5G. SCMA's essential approach, integrating hidden message mapping with transdisciplinary transformation, is discussed in this work, numerous approaches to support overloading scenarios, and modern receivers are presented. Normally, at the decoder side, SCMA is applied with message passing algorithm to satisfy the performance of the powerful iterative decoding. But inorder to evaluate the log likelihood ratio (LLR), it experiences high complications owing to the enormous number of associated exponential functions. Therefore, a simple sub-optimal versions of message passing algorithm also called as MAX-Log-MPA and Log-MPA were suggested with a view to establish a exchange among scheme complexity and efficiency. SCMA is a good solution for 5G, according to simulated data, based on performance of the systems which depends on the behaviour of the multi-user detector at various signal-to-noise ratio regions.
